Big Brother: Fans react to LGBTQ+ love triangle

It’s week two/three in the Big Brother house and we may have a love triangle on our hands.

On Sunday’s (22 October) episode viewers caught their first glimpse of a potential love triangle situation. In what made for awkward, yet tantalising TV viewing, fans saw Jordan and Matty flirting with each other.

However, observing on the side was Jordan’s “husband” Henry. The pair have been tongue and cheek calling each other husband since Tuesday (17 October), yet the true intention behind their feelings is not yet known.

Previously, Henry and Jordan had bonded over their shared interests and joked about their hypothetical child “Tarquin”. When the three were sitting outside Matty poked Jordan on the leg, to which Jordan responded: “Ow! Matty! Not in front of my husband!”

In Sunday’s episode there seemed to be a shift in power dynamic, however. Jordan was sitting alongside Matty on the living room sofa, where he complimented him on hair. Matty, who is in an open relationship with his boyfriend, tenderly engaged with him.

Henry, who was observing the pair, then removed himself from the room, before re-entering and sitting back down.

Fans were quick to react and highlighted the potential awkwardness of the situation.

One fan said: “Henry wants Jordan but Jordan wants Matty, but Matty is in a relationship … but Matty also likes Jordan? But Jordan doesn’t wanna get involved in an open relationship. (I’m a Jenry shipper) #bbuk #bigbrotheruk #bbll #bigbrother”.

Another fan added: “Henry, Jordan and Matty. Love Island meets Big Brother … it’s going to get interesting. #bbuk”.
