Meet 29 out LGBTQ players for the WNBA Playoffs

The top eight teams are set for the WNBA Playoffs, and perhaps more importantly, we’ve got 29 out gay, lesbian, bi and queer players to cheer on.

Regardless of which team you’re rooting for, each has at least one out player, with Minnesota, New York and Phoenix each having five. It’s a fact that a gay will win every single game. That’s just how sports math works.

The WNBA playoffs are longer than ever this season, as the league will implement a best-of-three games first round, best-of-five games second round and best-of-seven games final series. It means not only more basketball, it also guarantees each playoff team at least one game in front of their home crowd.

The playoffs start Sept. 14 and continue through mid-October.

Without further adieu, here’s every out player in the 2025 WNBA playoffs, sorted by team.
