Pro wrestling power couple Diamanté and Kiera Hogan have broken new ground over the seven years they’ve been together, but the new year brought a new development for the two: marriage.
Hogan and Diamanté announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve via Instagram with a video showing off Diamanté’s engagement ring. A post by Hogan on January 2 included a series of photos showcasing the celebratory couple and the engagement ring on Diamante’s finger.
“I love it so I had to put a ring on it,” Hogan said in the post. “[Diamanté] and I are going into our seventh year together and I couldn’t have possibly gone into the new year without her knowing I choose her everyday. Say hello to my fiancé.”

Hogan and Diamanté became two of the most recognizable faces early in the modern expansion of LGBTQ populations within pro wrestling. In 2019 Hogan, then a member of TNA Wrestling, came out publicly during Pride month that year and the two announced their relationship publicly just a few weeks later.
“When I’m with you, I act different. In a good way,” Hogan said via Instagram when announcing the relationship in 2019. “I smile more and I laugh more. I don’t have to pretend everything is ok when it’s really not. With you, I can drop the fake smile and put on a real one. I don’t feel hurt and alone when I’m with you. You’re easy to talk to, you listen to me, you understand me.
“I don’t have to worry about holding back with you. I don’t feel self conscious. I don’t ever feel insecure or sad, you show me that you really do care. With you it’s not just an act. You bring out my best self and I really appreciate your company. With you I’m different. With you I’m happy. What I have with you, I don’t want that with anyone else.”
The two etched their names in pro wrestling history multiple times since that moment. Hogan became the first out LGBTQ champion in TNA Wrestling’s history when she and Tasha Steelz became the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team champions in 2021.
The couple became the first out real-life same-sex couple ever to win tag team gold when they won the WOW Tag Team titles in 2019. The two have wrestled for several major promotions in the years since, including both being under AEW contract for multiple years simultaneously and making appearances on AEW and Ring of Honor programming.
Outsports congratulates the happy couple on their engagement and for continuing to show that Courage is Contagious.
