Rain and shine: 19+ steamy photos from the 2026 Miami Winter Party
Last weekend’s Miami Winter Party was briefly lashed with rain, but that didn’t stop the celebrations.

Miami was packed with hunks last weekend for the annual Winter Party Festival. The annual event from the National LGBTQ Task Force was celebrating its 33rd anniversary.
“Miami Beach became a living, breathing statement: we are here, we are connected, and we are not going anywhere,” Andy Garcia, National LGBTQ Task Force Director of Conferences and Events, said in a statement afterward.

“Winter Party Festival 2026 was pure joy — with purpose. We danced, we celebrated, and we showed the world what queer community looks like at its best — care in action. It was unforgettable, and its impact will be felt far beyond this weekend.”
Unusually, the region experienced heavy rain and hail on Sunday morning, March 1. Thankfully, after it cleared, the temperature rose and things got steamy in the balmy warmth. But you can swipe through the Instagram pics below to see how Sunday started.
“The rain couldn’t stop us,” Garcia said. “What started as a stormy day ended in a sun-splashed, hands-in-the-air kind of release — our community moving as one on the sands of South Beach. It was a reminder that even when you start in darkness, you can still end in the light.”
Over 10,000 attendees celebrated the Winter Party, which included 11 separate day and night events. Guest DJs included Abel, Brady Prince, GSP, Jace M, and Joe Pacheco, among many others.
Partying with a purpose
Alongside the partying, there’s a serious side to Winter Party. Since 2005, it has enabled the LGBTQ Task Force to reinvest $4 million into over 100 community organizations in South Florida, as well as national social justice efforts.
The headline sponsor for this year’s event was telehealth company Mistr, which is used by many queer men to obtain PrEP. Its involvement was timely. In January, the Florida Department of Health announced major changes to the state’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), including sharply reduced eligibility and other restrictions. The department imposed an emergency ruling on March 1 to push the changes through in the face of growing opposition.
According to the HIV Medicine Association, the rule impacts an estimated 16,000 residents in the state. The cuts were driven by a reported $120 million budget deficit, rising insurance premiums, and declining federal assistance.

The National LGBTQ Task Force used the momentum of Winter Party Festival to urge attendees — especially Floridians — to contact state lawmakers and demand they protect ADAP funding and stop these harmful cuts.
