Run N Gun challenges filmmakers to write, shoot and edit a short movie in just 48 hours. After filming in May, the finished results were screened for audiences at last weekend’s festival.

Williams has been associated with the festival for several years, having previously submitted his own short movies. He was on the judging panel of this year’s festival, but presumably not involved with the Audience Choice Award.

Human Nature was directed by Christian Caputo and written by Kieran Jones. Its synopsis says, “A lonely young man and a mysterious forest creature bond while showing each other the wonders of humanity and nature, until a careless act of disrespect awakens nature’s true wrath.”

Williams plays himself in a brief bathtub scene, in which he’s just wearing a mankini.

“You can’t just burst in here!” shouts Williams when discovered. “This is my private time. You know this.”

Connor Storrie spotted arriving in Canada

Williams has half a dozen forthcoming projects following the success of his breakout role in Heated Rivalry. These include the eight-part Netflix show The Altruist (about crypto giant Sam Bankman-Fried), a thriller entitled Drifter, and culinary drama Tyrant alongside Omar Apollo, Charlize Theron, Demi Moore, and more.

He’s also filming the second season of Heated Rivalry. This appears to be imminent.

Content creator Will Wong caught Williams’ co-star, Connor Storrie, arriving at Toronto Pearson Airport in Toronto, Ontario, at midnight on Tuesday morning. Wong said it was to film Heated Rivalry.

Wong said of Storrie, “He is the kindest, most gracious human being. Beyond proud of him and how well he is navigating all his success!”
