Dropped 25 lbs.

Well, now he’s opened up about his secret and revealed he dropped 25 pounds by “microdosing on GLP-1” drugs. ????

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro are typically prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes and/or obesity, but have become all the rage in Hollywood for their weight loss benefits.

“Given that for 20 years I have been asking people about their body regimens and that I’ve been pretty vocal about every time I go on a diet … I do think it would be completely hypocritical not to share that I did this summer lose a good chunk of weight by micro-dosing a GLP-1 all summer,” Cohen told co-host John Arthur Hill on Tuesday’s episode of his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live.

The father of two disclosed his doctor had recommended the drugs a few times and he finally said yes because “I was really unhappy with my weight.” In addition to the physical benefits, it allowed him to address “plaque in my arteries and high blood pressure.”

Although he didn’t specify which drug he takes, Cohen said it made him readjust his relationship with food and helped ramp up his fitness regimen.

“It really helped me with cravings, which I was having a very hard time with, and really forcing myself to be more disciplined with my diet and with working out,” he added. “I am on a pretty rigorous health journey.”

Cohen’s personal trainer Stan Kravchenko also got involved by making him do heavier weights. “My fitness has never been better, ” Cohen said confidently.

The muscle tank doesn’t lie!

“I feel privileged to have access to a GLP-1, and I think everybody should through insurance,” Cohen continued. “This is a revolutionary drug.”

This is a noticeable change in attitude for Cohen, who was previously critical of people taking Ozempic. In 2023, he infamously made a joke saying the “Real Housewives of Ozempic” was “already airing.”

“Part of my attitude about it was about people not talking about it. I was like, ‘Look. It’s obvious,'” he said on the radio show, before swearing he always intended to be honest about taking the drugs.

“I feel so strongly that I can’t be the one asking all the personal questions of, specifically, the Housewives. ‘How did you do it? What did you do to your face? How did you do the weight loss?’ And then be the guy who’s suddenly lost 25 lbs. but isn’t mentioning it.”

Now that the secret it out, there’s no shame to his game.
