The Cayman Islands are regarded as one of the more LGBTQ-friendly destinations in the Caribbean. The self-governing, British overseas territory has enjoyed same-sex civil unions since 2020, and local advocates also organized the first Pride parade in 2021.

Its annual Pride is due to return this year on Saturday, June 27th, 2026. The Cayman Pride festivities take place on the largest island, Grand Cayman. Besides a parade, last year’s event also included an afterparty and a drag brunch.

Here’s a look back at last year’s festival.

“A Free Night on Us”

Not only is Cayman Pride one of the best times to visit, but this year’s event happens to take place in the middle of a special ‘free night’ deal that many local hotels are promoting.

The “A Free Night on Us” summer travel campaign is available for booking through July 13, 2026, for travel between June 1 and October 15, 2026.

“Travel doesn’t have to feel rushed,” said Rosa Harris, director of tourism for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. “This summer, we’re inviting travelers to experience the Cayman Islands by staying longer, easing into their itinerary of activities and embracing a vaCay mindset that’s rooted in slowing down and being fully present.”

The promotion encompasses a range of accommodation, from beachfront resorts to boutique stays, villas and condos. The deal is that you get a free night in return for booking 3-4 other nights.

Participating hotels include the following.
