The Oklahoma State men’s ice hockey team held a car wash fundraiser, and we’re all the better for it.
There was lots of splashing to go around at the event, held last week behind the popular Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity — Of which some of the ice hockey players seem to be members.
It’s clear the guys had a blast with the event, with many images from the car wash featuring smiles and, well, some particularly — ahem — “interesting” cleaning techniques.
The team thanked the public on Instagram while also posting some really fun images of the boys shirtless splashing in the water with one another.

Oklahoma State is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The ACHA is an association of men’s and women’s hockey teams that are not associated with the NCAA. With over 400 teams, it’s a sizable alternative.
Like so many college sports teams, the Oklahoma State men’s hockey team finds ways to raise much-needed funds for training and travel — particularly true for non-NCAA teams. The shirtless carwash was a fun, creative idea that Outsports wholeheartedly hopes more teams will host. If you’re a team that hosts an event like this, we’d love to hear from you.
